Seagate Central 3TB NAS External Hard Drive $79.99 FREE SHIP

Reading through the reviews, I wonder if what is in this thing is actually an NAS drive (unlikely). All of the 1-2 star comments say that this thing is slow as hell (transfer speeds) and generally unreliable. Of course looking at that packaging I also don't get too much confidence. It has absolutely no gaps in the top or the sides. Where the heck does the heat escape?
