MrMitch and myself, along with one other team member will be entering the iRacing 12 hours of Sebring later this month as Team HardOCP.com. MrMitch might be able to get some higer rez shots where the logos will show up better, but my GPU is 5 years old...so this is what we get for now.

Depending on what split we're in we might be on iRacing's twitch and YouTube stream...but I doubt we'll make that split, so I'll look into streaming it myself...anyone know anything about Twitch?

Thanks, we're actually working on another paint scheme since MrMitch apparently knows how to photoshop.

Send me a PM and I'll give you my info on iracing. We aren't super duper competitive, but we do want to finish and be as competitive as possible.
 
I'd love to participate, but I don't think my work schedule would allow it. I don't have the HPD yet either.
 
Update!

We've finalized our paint (for now...it may change a bit, but not much) and have started practicing stints and driver swaps. I've actually received more interest in a twitch stream than I thought, so I'm going to work on getting one...even if people only check it out for 2 minutes, it'll be worth it.

We're doing live practices with other teams so here is a quick SS. I may have more later:

Twitch is setup! I'm "iracingoem" on twitch. I'll post when we do practices and practice races just to make sure everything works correctly.
 
The practice races are only 45 minutes. It was over around 8:45 central.

Team [H]ard|OCP got its first podium with a 3rd place by me last night and a sixth place by one of our other drivers. He decided he didn't want to start with a full tank of gas so he had to pit.

Our 3rd driver didn't race last night.

IF the server doesn't go down I'll be broadcasting a race at around 1450 EST
 
The real 12 hours was yesterday, the iracing 12 hours is next Saturday. Starts at 8am EST.

That was a practice race.
 
I don't know if anyone watched, but I went from 10th to 2nd and both HardOCP cars made it on the podium. 2nd and 3rd.

That looks like a lot of fun. Never tried iracing before. The last racing game I played was Daytona USA in the arcade and sega Saturn.
 
First driver swap in about 4 laps. We're running 2nd at the moment.
 
It's cool to watch you guys. 1st place! Nice. I don't know if it's due to lap strat or is actual lap position, but nice job.

Very cool being able to watch live. If it were next weekend I could have participated, but I'm out of town this weekend. Watching is a good alternative though.
 
Our main competitor just made what we think is an unscheduled stop. We aren't sure why so we hope this helps us
 
What happened? I turned of the stream for a while, and when I came back, the cars in the pits for 8 minutes of repairs. :eek:
 
A gt3 car spun in front of Mitch around a corner to where he couldn't see it.
 
Oh crap. I figured it wasn't the fault of you guys. I saw how well he and Adam were driving.
 
We're not quitting! We just made up 1.5 laps on my last two stints. JohnDub is in the car to finish the race. The first place guy has been in the car for a long time and is starting to spin and whatnot, so it isn't over yet.

Even if we do finish a couple of laps down, to only be 3 or so laps down after TWELVE hours of racing with other drivers from other teams who don't always make the move you expect them to, 2nd place isn't bad at all.

All three of us want to do the next endurance race even more because of what happened. We know we have a good team with solid drivers who had a shot at a win on our very first race together.

good luck and glad to see you guys won the 12 hours of sebring, was periodically watching the stream during the first few hours of the race til i had to do some corp CTA stuff in Eve, looked fun.
