I guess these guys have learned their lesson about using contractors to help work on their games. :)

Apparently, unbeknownst to Undead until recently, some of those hired guns secretly and liberally drew penises into the game’s backgrounds. The phalluses were not visible in the original release due to its lower resolution and lower-quality textures, so they slipped through testing unnoticed and made their way into the final game.

It is pretty amusing to see how American's view sexuality after moving to the UK. I went into a shop that sells birthday cards and on the shelf at waist hight they had a book The Little Book of Big Penis. Naturally the book is fully of penises and is not not wrapped in plastic or anything.

The government is a reflection of the people on one hand.

On the other is isn't that simple. In America once the penis and vag are released in easily consumed media, that's all media of all forms will become all the time. Europe is a little like that, but state control of media prevents the level of ominipresence that would occur here. No Breaking Bad, no House of Cards, no Game of Throwns, just slightly cleaned up Debbie Does Dallas 24/7.
 
This is pretty funny. This might help them sell a few more copies (although the publisher will probably want to replace the graphics)

That said, kind of disappointing to not show the things in question.
 
Eh? People are *surprised* by this? This has been going on for years. I remember a chatting with a mate who was a dev for various Wii / Playstation / Xbox games around 2004/5. He was showing me how they packed the textures into the game. And then he showed me the *real* source of those textures.

This was a big top ten game... and unknown to the gamers every time they were running down the corridors that fleshy texture on the walls was sampled from ++++++. They had a huge chunk of that famous image in the game which was then used to sample small textures from that was then painted in all kinds of places within the game.

Note: I am a Brit, and the mate I was talking to was also a Brit working for a British contractor who was working for a Big Name gaming company. Yeah, we have a different attitude to 'muricans to sex and flesh and general openness.

Spaced would have been treated like the plague by the networks here in the US. And yet they green light all sorts of crap on that's much worse IMO.:rolleyes:

Not really governments, but religions, that eventually end up influencing the government's decisions. Look at how people react when someone says X is an attack on my religion as a perfect example.
