Titanfall 2 Likely to Seek Wider Audiences

IGN reports that Electronic Arts has hinted at a sequel to Titanfall is going to happen and sooner than later. EA wants to appeal to a wider audience across multiple platforms and drop its exclusivity to the Xbox platform.

Although that game was confirmed as a “lifetime” exclusive on Microsoft’s machines, rumors prior to the launch suggested that a sequel would not be locked in to one family of platforms like its predecessor.

Funny thing about that game was Microsoft automatically assumed because it had a lot of the original COD team behind it the game was guaranteed to be a yearly churn out cash cow....That didn't happen, wonder how much MS ploughed into that game for exclusivity on the consoles. Probably not a good return on the investment.
 
I hope Titanfall 2 will have people playing it longer than the first one.... It seems like nobody plays it these days
 
oddly enough -- I have an easier time finding a good game of Titanfall (PC) than I do playing Advanced Warfare (PC)

I fully admit -- I waste my money buying Advanced Warfare (I was bored on an oil rig and needed something to do... bleh)
 
By trying to please everyone, they will please no one.
Titan Fall 2: Bejeweled Edition - "We need to appease casual gamers." :p
 
I hope Titan Fall 2 has twice the content of Titan Fall. I like Titan Fall, but it seems like there just isn't enough of it to justify a full-price purchase (I paid $5). The Titans could also use to be a bit stronger, they go down way too easy considering they're supposed to be awesome mechs.
 
Not gonna lie, I find the classic NES and Genesis ROMs much more satisfying than modern console games.
 
Sweet, TitanFall will be free soon. Then next year around this time Titanfall 2 will be free!
