Didn't really know what to put for the title, but here is my question:

We have a work environment where we want to have a few desks that have a wireless keyboard/mouse. We have selected a Microsoft based combo that has a USB dongle (as some users do not have bluetooth).
I know I've seen sleeve type products for USB dongles to attach them to particular things, and some dongles have a spot to string through. We'd like to find a product of some sort that is like a leash for these USB dongles. Think... Kensington lock but for usb sticks.

Anyone have any idea if such things exist or have a solution?

I suspect if it does it would be cheaper to stock spares. Alternative would be epoxy glue a wire or cable.
[Also think about batteries, disposable or rechargeable].

Second thought is a small drop of super glue where nail polish remover/acetone can be used to remove dongle if necessary, trial first.
Using a USB extension cord glued to dongle might make it awkward enough not to wonder about lost/stolen.
FWIW when shared workstations (different departments, paper files) at a nonprofit I replaced both mice with wireless and neither was lost or stolen. Battery life was very good.
Epoxying dongle to a nut or a couple washers epoxied to case or desk and using USB extension would also seem likely to work. Super Glue would be removable may remove paint.

Mouse dongles can be wifi or Bluetooth.
A PCI or PCIE Card holding a wifi or wifi Bluetooth laptop card is available, if workstation allows.

Err... no. Logitech is proprietary, same with the Microsoft dongle. If a given wireless device is bluetooth it'll say such, if it comes with it's own dongle then it isn't "wifi or Bluetooth", period.
