Just ordered Honor 6. Anyone else though about getting this?

- 3GB RAM.
- MicroSD slot.
- Octa core (Cortex-A15 & Cortex-A7) Kirin 920 CPU.
- Good enough GPU since I don't really game on my phone.
- 5" fullhd screen.
- 129g.
- 4G.
- Decent 13 Mpix camera made by Sony.
- 3100 mAh battery.
- 299 € (inc. 24% VAT) without any contract.

This should finally put my Galaxy S to rest and also replace my current main phone, Lumia 920. I'm definitely going to like the weight and rounded corners. Lumia 920's weight and sharp edges are far from ideal.

I'm pretty sure that this will do just fine 'till Windows 10 and second gen 64-bit phones arrive.

I should receive mine early next week.

I've always contemplated it based on the battery life alone. If I were in need of a newer phone I would but the note 3 I have is still very good.

Okay, so I just got mine and so far the first impression is really positive. It even has ir blaster. Build quality was surprisingly good, I'd say that it feels as good if not better than Z3 Compact. It also came with screen and back protectors (you can install them if you want). There's also notification led (at least for charging).

Huawei's own launcher seems to be quite good, less bloat than on Z3 Compact and feels a bit more modern. Although some may not like the fact that app list and widgets are mixed (no separate app list).

Screen seems to be quite decent too.

40799 in Antutu (and I didn't even use performance mode). Browsing is incredibly smooth. I can finally say bye bye to Galaxy S.

I have an Acsend Mate 2 and love it. I came from a Nexus 5 and don't miss it at all. I'm impressed with Huawei build quality and the performance is great.

Huawei recently released kernel source for Honor 6 so the custom roms are not out of the question.
