Hi, I have a 1.5TB Seagate drive, SMART has been 'tripped'. I ran HD Tune Pro and clicked the 'Health' tab and it looks very strange to me. Please see attached photo. Please does anyone know why these two values are at '1' ?

It's probably time to dump that disk. There is now one reallocated sector and this is also one event, that's why they are both 1. You could potentially have multiple reallocated sectors in the same event, that's why there's the distinction. Once you start seeing reallocated sectors it usually gets much worse and you just can't trust your data with it anymore. You might be able to hold off for a while, but in my experience the problems will only accelerate at this point.

That was also the very problematic 7200.11 series, the one that had firmware issues, etc. Not exactly a great time for Seagate drives.

I've had a single reallocated sector on a drive for years, and still working fine. But the Seagate 1.5TB 7200.11 has a very high failure rate. Any other drive - I would recommend watching it. With that model - I suggest you replace asap unless you have solid backup procedure in place.

By the way - this is posted in the wrong section. It should go:
