man what a hot deal.. I just bought some ram off a forum member for 55 shipped for only 2x4gb for my main rig... I couldn't resist this though.. I guess I can finally start to build that microcenter bundle I bought a while back..
 
In for one, but knowing TD, they like to intentionally post "errors" like this to get people to register on the site and get traffic and what not, and then say it was a pricing error and cancel.

Cheaper than TV commercials I guess.

Haven't experienced any of those lately. And for one of their pricing mistakes (Corsair A50 for $10 shipped), I only ordered two in one order and I got both of them. It's the ones that abused it and tried to get more that they cancelled. Then again, it was a relatively cheap item to begin with...
 
Well good news is its been a whole business day since they stopped the deal and I haven't seen or heard of any cancellation notices.. so looks like everyone who placed an order should get it. :D
 
Nope. Everyone got a cancellation notice. I contacted a CSR, and they said they were going to ship it from a secondary warehouse yesterday, then I received a second E-Mail this afternoon stating that it was cancelled due to circumstances beyond their control. The best you can do is get another $15 of $100 coupon issued to you by a CSR and get pointed at RAM that is $140 AR. No deal.
 
Got my cancellation email yesterday but received my pencils in a large cardboard box.

No shit, biggest box I have ever seen for a ruler.

I was about to shit a brick, but then I found out they only charged like 10 cents or something for shipping instead of the $5.

However, I find it absolutely rediculous they would wait to cancel your MAIN order AFTER the suborder has already shipped?!?!?

They should have to contact you first or cancel the entire order, as one piece may depend on the other, or in this case was pure filler.

Honestly, screw Tiger Direct. Sad thing is I KNEW this was another one of their countless shenanigans, and yet I still bit anyway thinking they maaaaaybe had their act together for a change.
