I played the first metro game and I knew it had it issues. But none as bad as last lights, I seemed to have found a couple huge performance issues rendering the game nearly unplayable. Now I did do a few fixes when fps plumted the first time worked great so about 4 hours in give or take I was in the sewers where you have to wait for the automated boat or what ever that was attached to a line. The game ran smooth on my 780 till then and I got artifacting in only one spot then never again or in any other game. But I could never run smooth frame rate it was playable but random glitches like falling off the map and huge fps drop that even crysis 3 4x msaa max seetings everything else would not even hit under 40. Its not too big of a deal got it on sale just wondering if any one else has had this issue? I did try lowering settings and disabling aa to no avail. Has anyone else had bizarre glitches or issues with it?

I had an issue just like this with Metro. I think I ended up reinstalling the Nvidia physx driver. The fix made no sense to me, but it did clear it up. I had horrible lag until I did that.

Hm that's odd when I get back from vacation i will try this thanks :)

I was having some performance issues on certain levels @3440x1440 even with 2 290x. I turned off the advanced Physx and it all started running smooth as butter and honestly I can't tell a difference in game play.

There is something really wonky with last light. Fraps says I'm getting higher FPS with 2x7970's on my desktop but the game feels much smoother and is a better experience on my laptop with a 770 (which fraps says is lower fps)

The thing was Razer x I had advanced physX off and still had these problems. It was bizarre oh I also couldn't set any graphical settings every time I fired it up it was set to 1280x720 and everything set to low. And draax have you tried disabling one GPU and trying it? Maybe its a crossfire thing.

Advanced PhysX will not use AMD gfx cards, it is NVidia only or CPU.
So when you only have AMD gfx cards, advanced PhysX will run on the CPU, slowly.
