I'm a big fan of the Xbox 360 wired controllers but at $35 they're a little steep. What's a cheaper controller that has analog sticks on it like the 360 one? Maybe $10-$20 in price?

Yeah my friend, i wholly accept you opinion.
At past i have occupied several luxurious xbox analog sticks for NBA 2k13.
But the sticks were rudely broken by me so i had to change a new one frequently.
U believe it or not, now my stuff is just afforded by $14.
Without such a lot of requirements, there is truly no big difference.
Honestly, 2 analog triggers and vibration system, i'm satisfied.
Anyway, you can check it out.

I'd just get a used or onsale xbox 360 controller. Most games recongize them and you don't have to setup anything which is nice.

Logitech F310 Gamepad. Has a switch on the back for directInput/ Xinput (precise xbox 360 controller emulation).

This is probably the best 360 compatible cheap controller, I've seen it on sale in the $10 range. I believe you need to get the f510 if you want vibration though.

Is you trollin' ?
Two day old account, broken english, and seems to be promoting a product. My guess is that it's a spammer but I wasn't sure enough to report them, if they are they'll make it obvious soon enough.

I hate to say it, but, spend the extra $10 for the 360 controller. It's REALLY nice to never have any driver issues. Just don't go out to eat for lunch once this next week.

I think it's going in this direction to be honest. Girlfriend is picking it up and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a controller for herself. I think I'm convincing her to step it up to the 360 controller, just wanted to see if there were any other decent options.

There are zero driver issues with the logitech controllers in xinput mode, you plug it in and Windows sees it as a 360 controller and installs the drivers. As far as I know it's that way for every 360 compatible controller so I'm not sure what driver issues you're talking about, a few years ago Windows didn't always automatically install the drivers for third party controllers but that was fixed a long time ago.

The logitech controller that I have(F710) seems sturdier to me and the d-pad is much better than the 360 controller. Other than that the logitech controller has a slightly different overall shape and the triggers have a bit larger range and require more pressure to press in, those are all subjective differences but personally I find the Logitech controller to be better for my larger hands.
