Need some trouble shooting help.

Windows7 x64 media center issue is when starting up live TV audio starts screen is black then sound cuts out but if you hit live TV again it comes up fine only happens on first startup of live TV.

System specs are
AMD A4-4000 APU
4 Gb 1600 ddr3
2 Hauppauge wintv hvr-2250's

Newest AMD drivers and windows updates.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprciated

Check the driver and firmware on your tuners. Update everything to the latest available.

Thank you for the reply.
Did that all drivers are up to date.

Believe it or not I completely reformatted the record drive and that seems to have fixed it read that in some older media center forum posts.

Just have to keep an eye on it now

Could have been an HDMI handshake issue between WMC, the GPU and the TV. It's a known issue in the WMC community.

It is possible I've seen that with people using APU only setups. It still happens once in a while but not too often. Second press of the live TV button cures it funny thing is it never happens when watching live TV thru Xbox 360 extender.
