As you guys know I'm on Noritake's list for sample announcements. This might be useful for some of our resident modders.
Basically, a simple glass capacitive 12 button touch panel. The panel includes the controller board with an Atmel QTouch controller.

It appears to be designed to fit over a 4.7" LCD panel. But you could put anything underneath it (paper with button designations, leds that turn on and off, etc.) I could see doing things like making a touch fan controller, audio interface, etc.
Quantity is limited to 50 this time so jump on it if you want it.
