Titanfall PC - $33.78

Nice deal, but only a matter of time before GMG does a similar sale, and I trust them way more.

50FUCKINGGB!?

ninja-edit: Thanks OP! It worked and the Origin Key was instant!

50GB for the PC copy?

just imagine all the people who have to blow 1/3 of their monthly allotted bandwidth to download the new Call ol Duty robots game.

I played the beta -- and I can't understand how this game is more than 8 to 12 GB for how it looks.

i have a 240GB SSD with only 110GB left this. I want this game but 50GB? The ONE version was shown to only be around 19GB total. Gah

There is no PS4 version of Titanfall. it is Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC only.

lol sorry i meant the Xbox one version was shown to be around 19gb with a day one patch of 840mb.

Something like 30GB of it is uncompressed audio.

Hmm 10GB for the game and 40GB for malware! (Being paranoid is not a privilege, it's a necessity)

I would honestly rather have 50GB of some good HD porn on my hard drive (and that would cost me way way less that 40-60 dollars)

50gb? Holy shit

Its as if they want us to have to buy bigger SSDs so lame...

In an age when a 4TB internal drive run $130. ;) No ones needs to use a SSD for this game. There is zero advantage considering there isn't even a SP campaign.

Maybe I'm spoiled now but I like everything loading up fast. You think there is zero advantage?

TY for bringing this to our attention, I done got bought Titansfall. Much easier than Mexican Proxy route.

Kinda wishing I spent a few bucks more for deluxe!

My only mechanical drive is a 1TB external. I won't run mechanical drives in my case anymore. I only use SSDs. Of course I have a 500GB one so 50GB isn't that much of an issue, but I know I'm not the only one to abandon internal mechanical drives.

Everything has to sync when playing multiplayer. You may load the map faster, but you will not be playing sooner.

Depends on the game -- I am usually the very first one to get the attack chopper, or basically any choice of vehicles on BF4 maps.

My friend loading into the same game on a mech hdd -- way way way behind. As in, I'm already 1/2 way across the map in my chopper blowing things up.

On one hand I fully understand the "fairness" argument - but there has to be a limit on how much time you give for everyone to load and sync up. In a game with 64 players, would it really be fair to waste 45 seconds of everyone's life just because some kid in asia is stupid enough to be using a 5400rpm drive still on an IDE controller?

When a new game is started, everyone syncs regardless of how slow peoples hardware is.

So no, you arent in playing before anyone else in a new game. It syncs before it starts.

I know it's OT, but what your saying does not follow with what I experienced going from a standard HDD to an SSD. I saw the same thing in BF4 collegeboy did; instead of waiting 2-3 minutes for the new map to load only to find many players already in and most vehicles taken, I now find myself among the first player markers on the map, and most vehicles available.

Maybe the game does 'synch' all players before the match starts, but I saw a marked difference when I changed hardware that was not imagined.

Yep, it does depend on the game. I don't have TF2 on my SSD because even if you load into a new map super fast, there's a 30 second "waiting for other players" timer you have to wait through. Fast loading does, however, offer a significant advantage in BF4.

:( Whatever you do don't be tempted to go after stick of truth from the same site lol. While I didn't waste the $16 for the game I have to use crazy proxies to activate/play it... kinda risky and hoping I don't get screwed over on steam.

Soooo the months of me playing BF4 where I'm quite literally the first person in the map to get vehicles and start running or shooting.... that's just? incredible amounts of luck? every single time?

I've had my friends over my house playing BF4 on their machine -- same connection (so that's not a factor) and they only get into the game WAY after I do.

Sure - the actual world time and tick rates are all synced, but those terms mean nothing to the average person. What people notice is how fast they can start playing. The fact I have an SSD means I have a leg up on the competition. I'm in the game and playing faster than other people with mechanical HDDs

I won't argue that a SSD hinders performance, but you are not the only one that has one so your argument for always being first... ;)

For those of you who own this game how is the gameplay? Is it similar to BF3 or CoD?

Yeah. If you want a terrible quality slow eco HDD. A decent 4TB will run you at least ~$175.

Also, I am very sad they require PayPal for this deal. Long story short, PayPal disabled my account after I was paid fraudulently with a credit card for something I sold and continues to lock it until I pay them back the money that they're held liable for. This was three years ago.

Tenub - you can get someone here to buy the key and send it to you. It activates on Origin.

He's referring specifically to Titanfall. SSD's don't really matter for this game.

I was hoping this game would be awesome... 50gb, and not so awesome :( bleh.
