I'm looking at getting the air 540 case, but I don't know weather or not I should get a 4 140 fan confit or a 6 120mm config. What do you guys suggest for better performance? Also what fans should I get for the best performance and silence combo?(I know it isn't silence optimised)

Anything helps -Schwizzle ;3

I have mine setup with three 120mm on the front, two 140mm on top, and one 140mm on the back. No reason you have to go all 140mm or 120mm.

Since I'm using two blower style video cards, I actually have the front and the top as intake, with only the rear as exhaust. Seems to work fine, but who knows if it is optimal. (Using some Silverstone 140mm magnetic fan filters on the top to keep dust out.)

I'm using all Noctua fans (some old NF-P12 on the front, a NF-P14 on the back, and two NF-A14's on top. The CPU cooler has two NF-P12 PWM fans). It's quiet, but very ugly.

I run 2 140's as intakes in the front, 1 140 as exhaust in the back, and 2 140's on top as exhaust in a pull configuration with a Corsair H110i AIO cooler. Pretty happy with the set up.

I've got the stock fans up front, 2 Enermax 120mm up top, all hooked up to a BitFenix Recon controller. It's totally silent, I like it! Running a H60 in back.

I'm just running the stock fans in front and rear right now, with the H110 fans on top pushing air through the radiator and out of the case. My GTX 670 also exhausts out the back of the case.

I too use a bitfenix recon fan controller as I found the stock fans running all out to be a bit irritating.

I'm thinking about putting three higher static pressure 120mm fans in the front to put more air into the case and deal with the front mounted filter and grill.
