So my problem is that whatever mouse I get, it gets the single click double clicking issue sooner or later. I started off with the original Deathadder which also lasted me the longest. It took around 2 years before it got the double click issue. Then I got the SteelSeries Ikari Optical to replace it. It was the worst of the bunch, getting the issue after only like 5 months. Now I have the Deathadder 2013 which sadly has gotten the issue too after 10 months. I hate having to buy a new mouse every year. Is there any mouse out there that doesn't get this issue? Or is atleast more reliable than my previous ones? Preferably something with the same shape as the Deathadder. I never got used to gripping the Ikari.

try Corsair's range of mice, their switches are supposed to withstand 20 million of clicks !

I was actually just looking at those. I'll have to head down to the shop and try them out first. But even the Deathadder is rated at like 10 million clicks and I know I haven't used it long enough for that so the rating doesn't really matter much. I guess I'm just unlucky.

I've had a few razer "snake-something-name" back in 2001, at some point I went with the deathadder (7 in 4 years) and then the naga (3 in 2 years), mostly had the same issue as you have, and i said its enough, switched to the corsair m90 almost 2 years ago, and still running

I've never had double-click issues with Logitech either (500, 518, G500, G700 and G600)

Of the two Razer mice I've owned, one developed double-click issues on the side buttons and the other on the right button.

I haven't owned a Razer since...

My Microsoft Notebook Mouse 3.0 has lasted about 6 years. I just replaced it with a Zowie EC2 eVo which my friend has been using for about a year. Either of these are pretty much bulletproof.

This is depressing. Nothing suits me better than a Razer mouse.

Anyone have any opinions of Cooler Master's Storm series?

Oh and has anyone heard of a company called Roccat?

I always have issues that after 4-6 months with corsair mice is that they have scroll issues. When scrolling up you get random scroll downs, and visa versa. It has happend with m90 and m95 now. I am looking for something new.

Roccat makes the Kone Pure Optical, which is its best mouse IMO, and the Savu, which is basically a cheaper KPO with a different texture, and both track well depending on the surface(s) used.

I've heard good things overall about the Cooler Master Storm Spawn. I think that's probably the best and most well-regarded out of the mice they have.

steelseries diablo has omron switches and is supposed to be very durable. omron is big electrical company from japan and their relays are regardes as top notch in industrial electrical control systems. any mouse with omron switch is good quality.
