as someone who works in Information Tech, I would HATE to find this out.
http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/12/24/uk-target-databreach-exclusive-idUKBRE9BN0L420131224
"The hackers who attacked Target Corp and compromised up to 40 million credit cards and debit cards also managed to steal encrypted personal identification numbers (PINs), according to a senior payments executive familiar with the situation."

I can't imagine what going to happen to anyone at target I assume that when this is all done there will be people that won't be able to find a job once the lawyers are done.

if you don't know, this is just for information- A personal identification number (PIN, pronounced "pin"; often erroneously PIN number) is a secret numeric password shared between a user and a system that can be used to authenticate the user to the system

they are selling the info between 20-100 bucks per card...

Sadly no benefit from target towards affected customers

My card was one of them, Both my bank and targert were all over this and I have not seen any fraud, although spending limits were limited to like $300 a day i was not affected at all, new card is on its way now.

To me this is no different than anything else I do with my card on a daily basis. All the gas pumps and other swipers I run the card through are no more or less secure. Not to mention the dozen or so websites that have it and the waiters that take it at restaurants, etc. Any of those is an opportunity to take the number and run with it.
