No DRM in The Witcher 3

In the broadest sense of what DRM is, the box copy and GoG are DRM too. A truly DRM free game would be one which is available for free download everywhere: torrents, kiosks, etc, but if you wanted to legally be able to play it you would have to buy a license.
GoG has zero drm

Id like to say it loud and clear: The PC version of The Witcher 3 will have absolutely no DRM from day 0. Zero. Zip. Nada.
