No DRM in The Witcher 3

If you don't already have a GOG account, you probably worship Chairman Mao. There is no client to load, just download your games and go.

In the broadest sense of what DRM is, the box copy and GoG are DRM too. A truly DRM free game would be one which is available for free download everywhere: torrents, kiosks, etc, but if you wanted to legally be able to play it you would have to buy a license.

GoG has zero drm
download install done never have connect to any thing after downloading the installer

I’d like to say it loud and clear: The PC version of The Witcher 3 will have absolutely no DRM from day 0. Zero. Zip. Nada.

Hopefully it will turn out better than the absolutist quote below.
And that means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like you healthcare plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away from you, no matter what.

This is very clever marketing. I will more than likely purchase it when it is cheaper but good for them for going public with their intentions!
