Need a good router

My sitecom router stops working after some time. It is 2 months old and just yesterday started to have this problem. So yeah I need an excellent router. The max amount that I can pay is 150$.

Thanks for advice and suggestions in advance.
 
Without knowing your needs, Asus RT-N66U. Tried, true, and proven.

That is odd, and if you had a router that went bad after 2 months why wouldn't you return it or RMA it? Maybe you just got one that was defective?

One iphone 5, one desktop computer and one laptop will connect and mostly gaming&download. I also don't want a problematic router which poses problems.

Don't think so. It was a cheap one and somewhat overheating. I don't want to waste time RMA'ing it.
 
Asus RT-N66U or Asus RT-N16

If you use the Asus RT-N16 install easy tomato.

If you use the RT-N66U install the merlin firmware.
