FreedomPop > free mobile phone service for life?

Looking for a phone to buy, I cannot take this temp windows phone anymore, and ran into this. This is not good for me but I know a lot of people out there can use these kinds of services.

FreedomPop offers free 4G data through hotspots and fills in the gaps using Sprint's network. Earlier this year the company started using 4G service from Clearwire and added Sprint's pipeline in April.

for the basic person its very nice. Sprint's network sucks, but hey free is free. My question is how well does the voip work over sprints crappy 3G.

That was the other thing that would keep me away. Sprint does suck but "Free" and super cheap plans should be good for a ton of people.

Their 3G in NY is not so bad... Though they are a last resort.

get a free Obamaphone, free minutes and multiple free phones as well
