Project: Queen of Blades

Awesome work as always Darth, I would love to hear more about the different techniques you are trying with the acrylic.

This first attempt I used a piece of monitor cord inserted in the tubing to prevent kinking. I bent it by eye instead of using a buck. The heat source was a heatgun on high. I think it was too hot which made the tubing too pliable quickly and also caused some slag which is why the bends do not look the best. I will try again using a buck to have a good controlled bend angle and I will try a lower heat setting.

yes the existing tubing runs are ghetto but they were quickly done meant only to run through PAX East (NVIDIA had me put in Titans for the show).

I am swapping out all the tubing and fittings for Primochill acrylic hard-lines (blue) and fittings (chrome)

Installing EK CSQ blocks on EVGA 780s.

Need to make an SLI bridge cover and wire management stuff with my 3d printer as well.

Hadn't see anything on this build in a while. Those 780s look pretty good in there, will look even better under water. Looking forward to more updates.

Must be a card blessing taking place - ohh the holy GTX 780's :p lol, love the build man, its really awesome. Sad to see EK in place of those Heatkillers though, personally I am a much bigger fan of the Watercool stuff, but I am sure they are gonna look sweet no matter what in that case. Will be checking back to see progress - thanks for the great build log, just spent a while trolling.

Received the Primochill rigid tubing and fittings (three six foot lengths) also have six feet of bending cord

holy crap thats a lot of connections to make! :D
Do I count 26 there on the board alone? Wow. will look great with that new tubing. Can't wait for more updates.

here is a draft of the loop plan. Will go EK Res to pumps (in series) to dual EK rads (in series) to CPU 1 in (then thru circuit pictured) then out from chipset block to in on resevoir

Leak test produced two leaks. First was oring problem around the Primochill indicator (my bad). I broke a tub getting it off so I just make a new run there without the indicator (will use it for another project). Second one was down at the radiators. I used an inline temp sensor which also had a bad oring. all the other connections running well!

looks fucking amazing. question: why not a four way connector for the gpus? why a three gpu one and then a tube going to the fourth?

Your tube bending skills are impressive. wish i had that talent and patience.

Ek does not make a matching connector for four GPUS

I'm not understanding how those hard drives are held. Could you explain?

DB, you're stuff is always killer, but this one in particular is amazing. The tubing work really sets this thing apart. And your airbrush guy did an excellent job.

added some lighting

Configuring Corsair Link software (set image to my rig). For some reason the 4th GPU drops in and out of some utilities. I am setting the Corsair Link to make LEDS red if temps rise beyond 70 will lower it when I run load tests

is that hard plastic tubing or something? looks crazy
Come on now, it wasn't but on the previous page that he discusses and shows numerous pictures about the rigid tubing from Primochill. You have to ask? See around post #92 to 100. Not to mention he has a another thread based on it.

But yes, it is rigid acrylic tubing and yes, it is crazy looking ;)

If you were busy performing FilthySanchezes you would have short-term memory loss as well :D

Is that Primochill Rigid BLUE or UV BLUE, i'm wondering which to choose as the imges i have seen of the UV BLUE seem to vary and some don't look very blue:
