Awesome phone, I love mine.. got mine before launch on the AT&T pre-order for only $90 with the HTC Media Link included... but that's another story there...

Anyway for $99 it's well worth it..

HOT DAMN! Thanks. I'm in the market for a new phone between the HTC One and a the S4. For about a third of the price, I'm sold.

I played with the S4 extensively, and I absolutely made the right choice in getting the One. In fact, it's so nice, it's the only android phone that swayed my girl away from her iPhone. I have the silver 64gb, she has the black 32.

If anyone else has a "data share family plan" and gets an error when checking out through amazon, call AT&T and explain the sitaution. I did and they were able to honor the same $100 price, AND they waived the $36 fee AND gave me overnight shippping. I'm happy!

Same, I'm extremely pleased with my One, and with an app d/l for a quick settings notification shade, I have nearly all the functionality I would have missed on the Galaxy s4 while the s4 will never have the killer speakers and low light camera performance of the One. The one thing still missing from my HTC would be the built-in ability to make gifs, but I haven't checking picture apps beyond Snapseed so it's probably out there.

Coming from an iphone, I knew I wanted to switch to Android. My g/f's Galaxy s2 gave me some hands on with Samsung's Touchwiz UI, and it was okay, but Sense 5.0 is the next best thing after stock android. I also love, yes love, the Zoe feature (shoots 3sec vid clips while simultaneously taking 20 photos), although I wish I could adjust/reduce the number of stills captured down to 10 or even 6 vs the 20 pictures it takes now. Except when compositing photos into a single image, 20 is too many photos to delete imo.

HTC is also offering $25 in google store credit to people whom have bought the HTC one:

edit: seems this only applies to people who buy it from today on. so people who bought it earlier/at launch arent eligible (to my knowledge)

Tempting, I'm still using an old Nokia flip phone that's duct taped together.

The crazy data plan rates on top of the phone plan kinda kills smartphones for me, though. I think I'll stick with my laptop and free wifi.

Man that $25 google store credit is an added cherry on top. I can't wait for my phone to arrive. What cases have you guys used with it? I'm looking to get something low profile, with very minimal bulk but some kind of protection at least. Like this

I like the look of the UAG, but for thin cases, I read good things about the Poetic Palette.

I'm still torn. I just cancelled my order from Amazon and ordered from Wirefly for $50.

Pretty stoked to get this in.

There really isn't a case on the market that I like. They're all either too bulky, look fugly, hide the gorgeous HTC One's aluminum body, or else have crappy feel on the volume buttons. Mine has the latter problem, but for now I bought this clear Speck gemshell till something better comes along.

Here's 3 other links I found useful when case shopping:

I love my HTC One but it seems those of us who got them at launch aren't eligible for the $25 gift card: "Offer valid only on new HTC One devices purchased and activated in the U.S. between 6/14/13 – 7/15/13"
So that sucks..

As far as cases I've reviewed I don't even know how many now and I've got two more sitting here waiting to be reviewed... point is those out of all the cases I like the Otterbox Commuter case, it's thin and doesn't add much bulk but it still protects.. I got the Glacier color which is white and gray and matches the white/gray of the HTC One I have

The Trident Aegis case I have is nice as well, very much on par with Otterbox quality and protection... If I didn't have the Otterbox I'd be using the Aegis case surely.

If you looking for a thin case I recently got the Nillkin Super Frosted Shield case which is very thin and lightweight and comes with screen protector... I prefer the protection of the Otterbox but if I wanted a thin case I'd use the Nillkin one..

And I also got the Incipio Feather case as well, which is extremely thin and lightweight too, it offers slightly more protection than the Nillkin and it offers sim card slot access but doesn't come with screen protector..

I got one from a company I never heard of before, ArmourDillo, the Hybrid case and it's not bad.. dual layer protection, built-in stand and it's inexpensive coming in at around $20.. no screen protector included, not a bad case but I just don't care for it personally

I'd post links to my reviews of the cases but I'm not sure if I'm allowed as it would be self-promotion... but I've done a lot of case reviews for the HTC One

What is that quick settings app?

I got it. I love it. I paid $99 at T-Mobile however, so I'm not sure this is a deal per say.

$99 plus $20 per month for 24 months or $99 total? How did you swing that deal?

I'd like to upgrade from my HTC One S.

It might be because I'm a postal employee and I get a discount.

Has anyone received theirs yet? Mine was suppose to ship today, but its late in the day and it still hasn't shipped yet.
