Let's just pretend you understand the meaning of "misogyny".
I can't wait until society leeches away our will to express ourselves.
Quite honestly.......
I've heard that line since I was a small child.....
My doctor's office for vaccinations
My dentist
My old barber
The orthopedist when he set my broken arm
The anesthesiologist just before I went off to sleep for my knee surgery.
My grade school teachers during final exams.
My team-mates in basketball and football.
Never once took it to mean I was going to be raped, physically or mentally.

Its an agenda to politically correct, demasculinize, emasculate and demonize both gaming and competitive trash talking. Unfortunately someone will get demoted or lose their job over something so petty. There are people out there who are miserable as hell, who wake up everyday looking to feel offended by anything and everything.
I'm not seeing a disadvantage in doing that. From my experience, men operate best when they fear consequences. They mostly laws when there's someone around who can enforce them. They stay married when they know they'll suffer badly from running off with another woman. They don't do horrible things to their daughters if they presume they'll get caught. Keeping men living in fear is the best way to make them productive and useful members of society. Whey they're not afriad, that's when bad things happen so I'm all for making anything they do less masculine. It works great for Japan.
I'm sure no one has ever even uttered the word "rape" to describe a situation in multiplayer games.
Wouldn't you rather talk like a pirate, matey?I'm gonna talk like that all day, now
How can you NOT see it? That line would be what a rapist can say... maybe if you add in... "and you won't be hurt" it'll make it more obvious.
(Completely unrelated story about rape)
So yes it is a standard rape joke. (I'm better than you exposition)
What YOU decide to read in-between the lines says more about you than the person talking.

context seems to be something that escapes you.

A rapist can say whatever they want. If a rapist says it, we lose the right to ever say it again? The fuck did I just read?
You said that rape is never inferred within the context of a game, but you well know that the word "rape" is thrown around by gamers like PacMan Jones' throws around singles at a scriptclub.
Is that another term for a speakeasy where nerds in leisure suits secretly exchange powershell , perl and .vbs code?
You and the Braid guy should go hang out and listen to some Justin Bieber songs. You can discuss your disgust with the rape culture over a nice bottle of unicorn tears.

If the guy in your story was reported as shouting "I'm loving it" while doing the act, would you then protest McDonald's?
Refer to:
Look how that statement works with genders reversed.
Only about 0.1% more to go before PC has overtaken everybody.
this whole dudes being a white knight when there is no need or reason to be one is really getting fucking annoying.
Hey look at how progressive and into women's rights I am!!!
If I was a chick guy's that pull this kind of shit would annoy me more than the actual sleazeballs.
That'd work okay too if the motivation for women was similar to men, but it isn't and men are a lot more likely to commit violent crime including rape. I understand where you wanna go with this, but crime rates are pretty obvious. As we make men more afraid, they behave better. Just look at recent data regarding crime and how drastically its impacted men and how little it has for women.

The criminal justice system's greater "leniency" and "chivalry" toward females may explain a portion of the lower official offending rates of women in comparison to men. Likewise, the justice system's tendency to be relatively less lenient and chivalrous toward females today may help explain recent increases in levels of female arrests. Although there appear to be relatively small differences between adult women and men in likelihood of arrest or conviction, women defendants do appear to have a lower probability of being jailed or imprisoned. This difference appears to be related to a variety of factors: pregnancy, responsibilities for small children, the greater likelihood to demonstrate remorse, as well as perceptions that women are less dangerous and more amenable to rehabilitation
