Has anyone else noticed any frame-rate issues since the new patch on Tuesday ? the laptop I am using (not the one in my Sig, my GF is borrowing that one So I am using my roommates while my main PC is at a band practice place we are renting to record our album. I'm a guitar and Producer/Engineer, So I built my PC for both Gaming and Recording.)

ANYWAYS. The one I am using has a Phenom II Dual Core @ 2.9GHz 4GB of DDR3 1066, Radeon Mobility HD4250, etc etc. obviousy it wont run very many new games. But Normally it does run WoW on Low-Medium settings. Usually it runs it @ 1280x720, 2x Anisotropic/Texture Filtering and 1x AA/Multisampling, SSAO Disabled, Projected Textures turned on, Texture quality set at Good, View Distance - Good, Liquid Detail - Fair, Shaows - Low, Sun-Shafts - low, and a couple more things set at good, and everything else set at either Low or Fair. And with those settings I get i usually stay around 30-35 FPS sometimes dropping to around 20-25 for a lil bit when I am in like way heavily populated areas like Stormwind City Auction House, etc etc.

But most of the time I stay around 30-35 FPS sometime even upwards of 40 FPS. But ever since the patch, I've been dropping down to 13 FPS and staying around 20-25 FPS, rarely hitting 30-35 FPS anymore. I don't know what the problem is. Even when i dropped everything to low and turned all the extras off, it didn't change a thing, didnt make the Frame-rates any better. The only thing I can think of is that maybe the Graphics Drivers need to be updated now since its a new patch. But I can't seem to find any reliable Drivers for this graphics card.

So if someone can help me find good/reliable drives for the Radeon Mobility HD4250, i would be greatly appreciative. I've never had a problem finding drivers in all my 10 yeasr of building/modding PC's, but I guess everyone has trouble sometimes lol.

apparently from what i just read, lots of people are having an issue since the patch. They are dropping 50FPS below what they normally run at before the patch. i.e people who were running 80FPS consistently are now hitting 30FPS and below, etc etc

yikes. i thought the forum was closed. reporting for deletion...

yea i posted it in two different areas, cause one was about my Graphics Card drivers specifically and I was just using WoW as an example of issues i was having. And this one is specifically about the issues I am having with WoW.

I haven't noticed anything other than usual mods breaking things occasionally, but a few guild members noticed unusual framerate drops around the main Pandaria towns when a lot of people are around. Part of it may be heavier populations immediately post-patch, but it seems to be a bigger drop than normal.

Haven't noticed it in wow other then world raid bosses. But noticed a bad performance in D3.

Now that you mention it, my fps does dip lower than normal in pandarian areas. Perhaps they use higher textures or more polygons in the newer version?
Or I could be talking out of my ass.

I have the same issue. There is a long thread about it over in the official WoW forums. It's 100% the new patch causing the problem, hopefully a fix will be in soon.
