ASUS ROG ARES II Video Card Review

Daydreaming of a pair of these in Crossfire, no way I could swing even one on my budget tho.
Fortunately dreaming is free.

Well I suspect these are aimed not so much as users as they are builders and I expect many to end up in show/review models from boutique builders around the world.

It's not about the money.

It's like shopping at a Ferrari dealer and then asking how much. If you need to ask, you shouldn't even be in there.
 
lololol...Nice card but damn, 1499!!! I went out to Newegg and had a few laughs looking at the price, seeing that it hasnt sold out and then looking at the "Limit 1 Per Customer".:D:D:D Eh, if I buy 2 can I get a discount :rolleyes:
 
Annoying Newegg order limit, I had to ask my sister to order one for a pair. They still have not sold out, I could of ordered it after 48 hours lol. Well I'm very interested in how well the cards perform. UPS will be here today with the first card :)

I'm still trying for figure out where to put the two radiators, most likely will cut a hole in the case and hang them off the back 140mm fan location.

Now I know the reason that there are no more ASUS 7970 Matrix cards available. All the high end GPU's are being used to make these monsters. It is a nice way to gain more profit per product.

BTW does this mean the 8970's will be coming much later rather than sooner?
 
Awesome!!! Wish they would take pocket fuzz rather than money though lol
