looking for a cheap socket 775 motherboard and proc
looking for a dual core would rather not use a pentium D but I could if needed
its for my aunt so I only have 30 bucks to spend

what model is the board
Q6600 is overkill for what she needs its going in a 'downstairs' pc that she uses to check he email and file taxes currently has a Dogslow 3Ghz Celeron D
 
The e2xxx series overclocks like little monsters.

Please stay away from any Pentium D processors, it's just not worth it as there is a night and day difference.
