Galaxy 6 Weeks of Christmas GPU Giveaway! Week 2

Here are a few reasons I like Galaxy, and their video cards specifically.
1. They care enough to have someone actually post on this forum and respond to their users and fans. There aren't a lot of companies that do this, or can afford to, or even would if they had the chance anyway. In short, it speaks volumes about the company itself, that they reach out to their "base" and even ask for this input.
2. I haven't read many negative reviews on either their products or their support. Everyone acknowledges that things can go wrong, but I can remember no instance of when Galaxy hasn't stepped up to the plate to fix things. In other words, this is a case of the fact that they treat their customers right. Another rarity in the "profit at all costs" businessplace: they recognize that the customer once made will stay a customer in the future.
3. Look at that picture of the card on the box. It was already stated that the goofy pictures aren't there, but this is simply because they don't need to be there. The card itself is showcased, and it looks like a beast. It is a short card, and it appears that the cooler is larger than the card! What does THIS say? Simply put, they take care in their product. This is the reason I don't remember many negative comments, they are rare due to the quality of the builds of their products.
4. Various companies rank the cards, HardOCP being one of them, and they give Galaxy top marks consistently. They know these cards are good, and therefore we as customers know they are good.

This is why everyone who posts here, including the reverse psychology guy above, wants one. Seeing the Galaxy rep's post in response to the covers actually surprised me. In most cases, these types of contests are just simple "respond to win" posts, but this time, I can see that someone actually READS these, and really, that says a LOT as well. /Cheers to Galaxy for actually caring enough to read these posts from their fans, as it proves that it isn't of just another company trying to push their product, but rather taking the opportunity to push their product to those who would use them well.

I am very pleased to be able to have the chance to win one, and I am also pleased to see these contests on HardOCP as well. It reminds me why I paid for the forum access and have been here so long, even when I am usually just reading.

I know almost nothing about Galaxy, except that one of their cards would look good in my computer! :)

I have been impressed with their well designed cards and prices seem to be more reasonable than most other video card makers.

I hear that Galaxy has good support and I am looking for a small form video card. This would be a nice fit GPU wise.

i like that galaxy gives back to the community, these kinds of things make it awesome to be a member of [H].

Unique cooler designs that usually outperform the blah reference designs we see from EVGA and the other guys...

I love the custom cooling and the Force Bracket has wide holes for better cooling. How could you not Love it!

I really want to replace my ATI card with an Nvidia card. This would be a great way to do it :)
