As the topic says, i've been looking for a new monitor to replace the current U2412m.

Here are the requirements:

no PWM
<16ms of input lag
no U2711-like AG

Korean monitors would probably be best for me, but I have a few question about them first:

Are glossy screens dangerous to your eyes?
Catleap, crossover, achieva, they all use the same panels so all should be OC'able too, right?

Here's some monitors i've been checking out, they all miss something, but i'd like to hear some opinions about them anyway:

ASUS PB278Q (PWM flicker?)
Dell U2713HM (hard AG, input lag > 16ms?)
Samsung S27A850D / S27A850TS (lots of backlight bleed, input lag > 16ms?)
Viewsonic VP2770 (very high input lag?)
HP ZR2740w v2 (hard AG?)

So, korean ones would look like the best for me at the moment. I'm planning to use the 27" as main monitor with 2x U2312hm / U2212hm 's mounted on a tri-way stand.

\\e, forgot to meantion usage. Monitor will be used mostly for gaming & programming.

Your list is missing:
ACD
Samsung S27B970D

You didn't mention a budget, but my guess is that price is a concern since you are considering Korean models.

Budget would be around 800€. I'm considering Korean models only because of glossy screen & 120hz refresh rate.

PWM is a somewhat unknown factor when it comes to koreans. Cheap shimians use input level dimming so I guess its not a factor .. on the other hand you might as well get any monitor then and dim with contrast level. One review reports a Crossover 27Q-LED to be using PWM-free 'proper' dimming.

Nice to hear.

Time to add some Hazros to the pool:

HZ27WC

I'm even considering the 30"

HZ30Wif

Any opinion on those / how they do in gaming?

No, they are not overclockable. There were a few batches of catleaps that were OCable in the beginning. Since then the manufacturers redesigned the circuit board and none of the current versions of catleaps can overclock now.

The only ones that are overclockable are at 120hz.net or overlord computers. You will be paying >$500.

I bought a Crossover because I was paranoid about the "flimsy" stands on the Catleap & Achieva models. That was a mistake & waste of money. I will never be using this in portrait mode. I have seen multiple Achievia shimians in person now, and the stand quality is completely adequate.

Aww, what a shame. So that makes the Overlord Tempest the only real 27" 2560x1440 gaming monitor then? Or is there others?
