Intel core i5 2500K $99 [MicroCenter]

out of stock in PA and nj oh well dont need it but would like to build a nice gaming pc for the brother
 
Just talked to the MN Micro Center, they won't substitute anything. Guy said there's a 2500k on the shelf that needs to be picked up by 9pm tonight otherwise it will be available. I don't have a need for another chip, so I won't be jumping on it....might be worth a shot.

Sale is Over ended on Sunday at all MC stores
 
Was told today at the Madison Heights/Detroit location that the 2500K deal was Friday only. Didn't have any left on the shelf and they said none available in the store when I stopped by today to see if any online orders were not picked up.

Hmm. Then dropping the cash to get this cpu and a new mobo as not really worth it. Sigh waiting to upgrade at tax time then. Hop some new offerings will be out.

I already have the phenom II x4 955... was hoping for a little more power and to give my folks a pc...
 
I don't see the $99 version either in Georgia but damn they're still at awesome prices.

Jeebus! Pair that with the combo deal they usually give you with a motherboard and those are some outrageous deals!
