I intended to but I forgot. The nearest Ikea is about 4 hours away, so I'm just going to find something at the local hardware store.

The desk is nice unfinished, but I can see the need for oil to protect it. You may also want to sand it. As it comes, it's been sanded but there are still (slight) variations in height between the pieces; enough to make me think a piece of glass wouldn't sit securely.
 
sorry crappy phone pics, but i'm not quite finished. but its good enough for a quick pic :)

the new chair is pretty comfy but it needs a bolt for the back so the back rest can be locked. going to take it to lowes probably tonight. not bad for $5 :)

its the exact same thing lol! whens the last time something was LESS creepy with a gas mask on? i thought that monkey was hideous when i first saw it, couldnt understand why multiple people asked about it...

They are from a group of pictures that have been floating around for a while.

Thanks, quite nice speakers for the money, they sound decent and look pretty rugged,
I would have prefered them in black, but they were only avaible in this colour.

Well, since I didn't accomplish all my summer projects and I need to step up my prep for my qualifying exams (grad student), I think this is it for 2012:

2013 should see the death of the filing cabinet (I picked up a doc scanner) and the addition of many more shelves (and maybe a better camera, if Santa is good to me)...

Stuff should eventually be in sig...
 
Love the huge bay window and plant array... I bet the cat loves that spot on the top of the cat tree also. :)
