This is one of the best heatsinks in the $30 price range. It was exactly $30 shipped about one week ago and this is the lowest price I've seen for it.

This is a great heatsink, very quiet, easy to mount, PWM works great with my mobo, etc. Been using one for awhile on my 2500k @ 4.5ghz and couldn't be happier

The Evo doesn't have the obvious grooves in the contact plate like the Plus model does, but it's my understanding that from a cooling performance standpoint, the two units are virtually identical.

At this pricing, $3.04 difference probably makes the EVO worth it just because it'll be easier to clean and move to another CPU if you want to later
