TCL - L40FHDP60 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV $300

Not sure if Frys still have it but they have a major brand 42'' 600hz 1080p plasma for $299

When/where?

The only 42" plasma for $299 I've seen at Fry's in the last two months has been 720p, and in fact like most 720p plasmas it's actually 1024x768. They alternate between LG and Panny for the 'Major Name Brand' but they've always been 720p.

However speaking of good deals last week they did have a 50" LG 1080p (LED backlight) for $599, which was actually a pretty decent low end unit. I almost bought it to replace my LG 42LK450 :)

The ad doesnt say but I'm going to guess its only 720p :(
SO imo, that deal sucks, lol. But the one the op posted is better!
