Looks like the ISK 100, without the side fan (for more clearance?) and with a VESA mount.

For some reason Antec ISK cases seem kind of rare right now in e-tail, but I'm not aware that they are discontinued. Seeing this new one gives me hope.

Speaking of hope, hopefully they fix the slight misalignment issues between the motherboard and I/O shield.

I just built a wifey workstation/HTPC using the ISK 110. This case definitely deserves more love. Good build quality, quiet, and easy to work with by normal case standards but ridiculously easy for an SFF case. Comes with power adapter, vertical stand, and VESA mount. Pretty inexpensive considering all that you're getting. A 90w PicoPSU and a brick will run you at least half the cost of this case if not more. My only two gripes were 1) I had to remove the power supply PCB to install the motherboard (only 2 screws to remove and it fits right back without issue once motherboard is seated) and 2) the 4-pin power connector was too short so I had to buy an extension. There's no optical drive bay and the PCIe slot is rendered useless, but I knew that before purchasing. With everything installed and some mild cable management, the case seems oddly spacious. Final build:

Case: Antec ISK 110
Motherboard: Asrock H67M-ITX/HT
Processor: Intel i5-2405s
Memory: Samsung 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 (MV-3V4G3D/US) – amazing memory btw
HDD: Crucial M4 SSD 256GB

The only moving part is Intel's stock cooler so that’s the extent of the noise produced. One entire side is metal mesh, so there's really no noise dampening. Still, the system is fairly quiet with proper fan settings. I can't hear mine beyond 3 ft. Fan is configured at lowest speed until 50C and only spins up while stress testing all 4 cores. I can definitely feel the airflow coming in the large mesh side of the ISK 110, even while idle. Hot air also exhausts from the same mesh side as well as the 'top'.

With the supplied power brick, power consumption via Kill-A-Watt is ~17w idle (seen as low as 16.9w), seems to bounce around 20-30w during average use, ~32w with SuperPi stressing a single core at (@3.3GHz w/ Turbo Boost) and ~60-62w while stress testing all four cores @2.6GHz. Nothing special done in the BIOS except configuring the memory to 1.375V (Asrock BIOS doesn’t let me configure it to actual spec, 1.35V). From reviews, this motherboard actually has poor idle power consumption compared to other H67 ITX solutions so I’m guessing the power supply is top notch. Antec claims 85% efficiency minimum and up to 92%.

Edit: temps on stress test only hits 50-55C across all cores. also, single thread of superPi runs at ~37w, not 32w.

same Power Brick as the isk 100? would you happen to have the part number and manufacturer? thanks.

I'd also like to know if there is an easy way to get a psu replacement unit without having to:

1. buy another isk110
2. swap in pico unit which involves opening the unit and wasting effort.

other than those, i'm highly interested in building at least 1 to test, and a whole bunch for many offices if it proves fairly reliable. (will stock pile PSUs, seriously. lol)

I can't really see #2 as a waste of effort. You've already opened it once right? What's one more time to throw in a pico when it comes down to it?

If I can swap just the power adapter, that'll save a lot of trouble vs. plugging in 24 pin, swapping other components, etc.
Now times that over 10-20 PCs at each office. and times that again by 10-20 offices.
Hope you get the idea. lol

Official respond from antec support as of 10APR2012, "unfortunately have to be the whole thing (whole new unit) since we don't have spare circuit boards or adapters."
So again, to get replacement psu, will have to buy whole new unit, or pico/etc.

would be nice with some pictures :D

Added a 1TB Samsung M8 which is now the loudest component:

Is there any way to mod / cram a 3.5 drive in there like the ISK 300-65?

It wouldn't fit and if it did, it would have trouble with mounting. However, you can put 2 2.5" drives in it. So, if you need storage you could do 2 1TB drives, but I think an SSD and a 1TB drive would be sufficient.

ill buy this case. but there want be anny building before we se the ivy bridge i3 with the integrated hd4000 or AMD's new fm2 sockett.

I'd say you would be fine with buying one extra ISK110 per 20 units deployed, and just keep it as a spare for PSUs. If one dies, swap it out (either brick, PCB or both as required) and RMA the failed unit. AFAIK it has a 3 year warranty.

Why is this no longer available without the Vesa mount? I wanted it. :(
(I want it to look the same on both sides so when it's stood up it looks decent/matching)

Not sure what you mean by this. The VESA mount can be removed (see pics above). In my opinion, the newer version looks better because they removed the side fan.

Hi

Could you tell me which is the maximum cooler height you can install in this case?

I'm planning a silent system with no fans so I need a good cooler

Thanks

Building a low-noise, low-power system inside this case for my mom as a birthday gift:
