NV Surround and X79 chipset Issue

Well purchased BF# a Well purchased BF3 a few weeks back only to find out I couldn’t play it with my NV surround setup because of a bug in the game. So while I waited for a patch I decided to upgrade my System to X79 chipset. BF3 patch came out yesterday, I just got my system built and fired up with my 2x580GTX 3MB cards. To my dismay there was not NV surround option in the Nvidia control panel. I tried everything, changed my SLI bridge uninstalled and reinstalled different versions of nvidia driver. Nothing worked.

I spoke to EVGA 3rd level support and they said, oh yea its a problem with the nvidia driver and X79 chipset in general. You have to wait for the fix in an upcoming driver. I like. WTF. I just waiting for nividia and DICE to get their act together now I gotta wait for nivida and Intel?

Anyone else find a work around for this mess?

No work around known. Nvidia fell asleep on thier driver support for the X79. Rumor has it we will see the driver late next week.
