I am a huge fan of Corsair. I was thinking about finally picking up an SSD and I trust Corsair to deliver in this front. I am already happy with all the memory modules and PSU's I've owned from Corsair, and it would be awesome if I got something free from them.
I bought my first SSD drive last year through newegg and it was a Corsair SSD, its very limited in size for my main OS drive and although I love the performance (20 GB) is just too tiny and I would love to have the speed and size of this drive to matchup with my 5ghz sandybridge with 16gb memory. Good Luck everyone.
My current Hard drive is pathetically slow! I need the speed and sheer awesomeness of a Corsair GT 180 SSD! Please make my life better with your amazing SSD.
Mere noises and gestures cannot adequately describe how much I could use this. My poor laptop is outdated, but it drags to a crawl with the disk I/O load I drop on its emaciated, trembling back. I thought I could splurge on a 120gb this BF, but it seems I will need 160gb and that size hasn't fallen yet in price.
1. It's super-fast: games and my OS will perform much better.
2. Reliability: solid-state, so no chance of a HDD crash.
3. It's red.
4.Like a lot of other people, I haven't had a raise or cost of living adjustment in 2 years. Money is tight.
I'll tell you why I need a new Corsair 180GB SSD in my rig. Maybe 2 year agos, I had purchased a G.Skill 64GB SSD. It ended up making my system slower. Later, I thought I'd fix it by adding another OCZ 64GB SSD. That didn't help. After that bad experience with SSDs, I gave up on them. I would like to see if a Corsair SSD would do any better.
I need an SSD drive cause I've never had one -- but I have the ram, case, and power supply. I would love to advertise the hell out of Corsair further with an awesome SSD
I need one of these in my rig because I'm American so my attention span is such that is causes me immense mental distress when I have to wait for my computer to do anything. Plus I'm a dirt-broke college student that can't afford an SSD. heh...
