Enermax is graciously giving two [H]ardOCP readers a brand new Enermax Platimax 850 watt computer power supply! These are very nice units. You can check out our review of the 1200 watt monster here. I would not hesitate to personally use either in my own builds.

Please post ONLY ONCE in this thread and ANSWER THIS QUESTION. Which Enermax product would you use for your next PC build and why?

I would use the Platimax 850, because I would hopefully get such a great reliable PSU for free from [H]ardOCP. :)

Edit: Not to mention this is just adorable.

I would use the Enermax 850w supply because of its excellent rating and I use 2 video cards and I need a psu that can handle that load!

Power Supplies...duh! I've used Enermax plenty before. My current PC has Enermax in it. Last one didn't.

Help me out with my new build cost, hook me up with that new juicy power supply PLZZZZ, I would use the Enermax Platimax 850 watt computer power supply because I need some good SLI power

I would use either one of their cases or PSU's. Enermax has a very good reputation and I really like the design of their products.

I think 850 is plenty for BD and Xfire 6970, which will be my next build. I've used Enermax in many of my previous rigs and they have been excellent. Still have two 300W units in use.

Platinum to match my teeth!

but seriously, I'd love to be able to use an Enermax 850w Platimax PSU with 89% to 94% efficiency in my new matx rig! SLI requires powa!

Hey the 18th is my Bday!

I wouldn't hesitate to use an Enermax PSU, Fan, case, anything because I have used a number of there products in the past and they have served me well! :D

The one I'd use in a next build, seeing as how it would be a gaming machine, I'd want a reliable PSU like the Platimax 850

For my next build I am going straight to the Enermax Platimax 850W Power Supply, no fooling around, and no excessive spending.

i'd take any Enermax PSU they have above 800w. I have had 2 previous and performed admirably.

I would use the Enermax Platimax 850 in my next build cause its like a mini nuclear power plant :)

A Platimax 850 would go nicely in my new system build. It's got great features and it lives up to it's hype, as [H]ardOcp has shown.

Platimax 850W . I would use it for reliability. Never had a problem with Enermax power supplies.

As I'm in the process of building a new computer, I would use Enermax Platimax 850 watt computer power supply.

I would use the Spinerex case for my wife's next build, because she likes how it looks, and I like how it performs.

Building a new Sandy Bridge Rig. Need a great 850w PSU. Enermax Platimax in on the short list of 3 different PSUs that I would only consider. Getting a free one would be icing on the cake...

Enermax Platimax 850 or something in the same-ish power range since my desktop is the next thing I plan to upgrade.

I'd use either the Platimax 850 or maybe something with a little less power like the MODU87+ 700w since I am planning on a crossfire eyefinity setup on my next build.

Would definately use the Platimax to replace my current TX750. Nothing wrong with it, but I am thinking about going dual 580s once the price drops down a bit when the next gen cards come out..

Also, Great psu. I trust [H] to tell me which components to buy. I do not buy anything without checking reviews here.

I'd use the modu82+ or any other enermax PSU, they've been around making quality products since my early days of PC use.

Most likely the Platimax to have a reliable PSU for GTX 580 SLI

Which Enermax product would you use for your next PC build and why?

Platimax 850W, I've used Enermax PSUs in the last few builds I did. They are rock solid!

Which Enermax product would you use for your next PC build and why?
That isn’t a good question to ask, the question should be what Enermax products would you not want in your PC build. All of their parts are high quality. They make nice cases, fans, coolers and of course PSU’s. This 850 watt PSU would look really nice in my case. And with the 5 year warrantee this will be one component that you can depend on for years to come

I only have a 560W supply to use in my next build so an 850 watt like this would be nice.

i would use the 850w if it would run 3x 6950s or the 1200w if that would cut it to close

I would actually get the 1200 - as I am looking to triple xfire with my 2600k and would like the extra power :)

Axe

In for 1 thou :)

i would use a 750-850 watt psu for my current pc, need more power to OC my GPUs.

I might be the odd man out here but I actually like their Spinerex cases. the MSRP is up there a little but you can usually find one for decent and with (to me) pleasing aesthetics.

I would use the platinum 850 because I only use a single video card, so I need a PSU that delivers fresh, clean power and stable voltages to an overclocked system, with an efficient rating.
