We all knew this coming as soon as the .xxx domains were announced to be a reality. If you had your heart set of picking up the domain name Gay.xxx, you blew it :D The domain name was bought for a cool half million this week by a Las Vegas based gay-porn production company. Once the sales go public and the dust settles, I’m betting some of the domain names are going to be a real hoot.

ICM plans to auction more .xxx domains at domain investor conferences and other venues over the coming weeks. A "landrush" phase – which will enable anyone to take a shot at a "premium" address – will kick off in November

Anyone else, besides me, laugh their ass off at the "Smut Site Address Commands Stiff Price" headline? :D *in Beavies voice* "Domo said Stiff Price...huh huh..."
 
And it went to Corbin Fisher, the company that threatened to sue 40,000 bittorrent downloaders of their gay porn videos for $150K each, and proposed them an "amnesty" for a few thousands bucks before suing for real.
Outing many gay teens to their parents in the process...
 
I assume said website is full of lipstick lesbian videos? Just wanna double-check before I click.
