So a new user here cheesy_ninja45 just sent me a message about a Batman Arkham City steam code I have for sale. Amazed that I "had a copy of such a hot unreleased game" he offered to trade me his 600+ game origin collection (not sure if there even are 600 downloadable games on origin yet but w/e) for it.

I responded letting him know that it was only a steam code not an actual copy and he would still have to wait till release to play it. He said he did not care and wanted to trade anyway this of course made me somewhat suspicious because as the saying go's if it sounds to good to be true...

So I did some smart googling and found that he had made another post here just today asking forum members to help him buy a new pc because "his house had just been robbed a second time and he had no pc to play games on"

Now im not nessecarrily saying this person is a liar/scammer but it kind of begs the question; if you have no pc to game on what do you want with a brand new pc game? and the folow up question if you have a collection of 600+ solid AAA release games you no longer care about and you need money shouldn't you be I don't know maybe selling them?

so yeah tldr use care with cheesy_ninja45 something doesn't smell right.

that thread made me lol.
What's genmay that one of the responses mentioned though?

Glad you didn't fall for it. Looks like we all saw that one coming. Also... lol @ 600 games on origin.

As long as you get access to the Origin account before you send him the code, I see no problem ;)

The win is strong with this thread

BTW to the poster above...genmay is short for general mayhem, the subscription only, behind the curtain [H] forums
