I don't know anything about this game, but thought I would share.

It is not on the list of games that can be activated on Steam - and frankly I have never played the game - but, regular $30 for the bundle and on sale for 7.50 (add to cart to see price), it might be worth it. I have seen comparisons to the NWN series.

Let me know your thoughts.

Drakensang is pretty decent, and it comes bundled with River of Time, which was pretty damn good. Other than Cano being a big fop, River of Time is one of the better party based RPG's released in 5+ years.

I don't have any games purchased from Impulse - is it worth getting into it?

Very good game. A couple weeks worth of fun if you like pseudo D&D style RPGs a la Neverwinter Nights.

I'm a fan of impulse, have been using it almost since they started up. The UI is easier to use than Steam imo and I've had no probs with games. It has good deals like this periodically.

Steam pulled this game from their service, I believe, a while back, but now it's back. Not sure why...

Legal issues. The dev team for this game is out of business. The expansion to RoT was the last thing they released.

RoT was awesome, I think ill pick this up and activate it on steam, then get the expansion over there, been wanting to try it out.

Yeah kind of a bummer, but whatever, RoT is a great game. I actually never finished it - got to the snowy village, how much more is there?

Well, that depends on what other parts of the river you finished first. It's possible you're only 1/2 - 2/3 in.

Interesting, guess I will find out. I found it more enjoyable than DA and DA2. Bearsuit armor and viking helmets ftw.
