Two Worlds II 50% off on steam, worth it?

I just bought it and must say it is really fun. The characters themselves look absolutely stunning, and it even has hair that moves(Yes fascinating :D). Looks better than Skyrim at least, and seems more fun. I loved the first one so this is even better, but from some who said Two Worlds 1 sucked, they said this one was better.

It sure is. One of my favorite games that I've played in the last year.

You'll get $25 worth of entertainment from it easily.

Worth it for the magic capabilities alone. As a mage you can combine different types of magic to create new spells. Story is so so, voice acting is terrible, but still a game I put many hours in. And I would suggest to anyone playing play as a mage. DLC just got released and I plan on picking that up as well.

The dialogue in Two Worlds 2 made my brain hurt. I had to stop playing. Devs need to stop using Google translator.

I hated the first one, but thought the second was pretty good. I'm tempted to check out the new DLC.

I bought it last time it was for sale on steam and I'm pretty pleased with it. Personally I got way more than my money's worth out of it, and I primarily concentrated on multiplayer co-op with my significant other.

Pros:
- Fun dungeon crawl, can be quite challenging too.
- Entertaining co-op experience.
- Multiplayer character levels go extremely high so you can grind yourself silly if you want (even though there is no point really).
- Village mode is a fun mode to build a city and gain some money/items.
- Fun little mini-game diversions.
- You can make yourself look cool, unlike some games that exhibit burlap sackitis.

Cons:
- Multi could have more maps, but it still kept me plenty occupied.
- Multiplayer character levels go high but content doesn't scale above max, so it really is a grind. This does not stop you from completing the maps normally though.
- Voice acting....lolololololololol.
- If you play with a mage the char will keep blathering spell-words every single time...you will want to kill yourself or mute the audio.
- Even during a steam sale you will be hard pressed to find people online who speak english, or want to speak english. May be an issue for those of you who fly solo.
- Multiplayer client is still buggy. Disconnects you sometimes and timewarps causing you to lose all your progress/items.

Overall (TLDR):
I personally found the game to be worth-while for $25, but throughout playing you will see the game that "could have been". Sadly, they fell short.

Note: Review based on vanilla TW2, I know nothing about the new DLC.
