Hey all, I know I can count on you guys to help me out on another laptop.

I just sold my old mbp to finance me a new gaming laptop. My budget is below 1500, currently I have that Dell offer with an alienware m14x + xbox for 1399 usd, I am not sure if this is really the best choice for me or not, because the gt555m is kinda a deal breaker for me, I dunno what is its desktop graphic card equivalent.

I don't really need top notch graphic performance since now i'm gaming on a i7 x201 tablet and i have a lot of fun on league of legends with low graphics lolll. But for future proof I would defenitely appreciate a good configuration.

Needs: Gaming capability, and Not a BRICK Design.
Size: between 11 to 15 is fine with me.
Portability: does not matter that much
Games: a lot of League of legends, Starcraft 2, diablo 3, DOTA 2 and all those online games. some soccer/sports game etc.

Personally the another thing holding me back from m14x is the way alienware looks, i know it's just an opinion but i can't help thinking this way loll.

bottom line is, if I couldn't find the laptop that suits me, I will have to break the bank and get myself another macbook pro, so please save the earth from apple !!!

thx to yall

btw, does any of your folks know powerpro laptop? they have a gtx570 looks promising

not nearly as popular as sager/clevo. i wouldn't risk it. keep in mind by default most of these laptops don't come with an OS

np. fwiw i've personally had bad luck msi. However, the Sager is a rebranded Clevo which while not well known produce good chassis. I think you can see where I'm headed with the recommendation :) Let us know what you pick.

Sager/Clevo is quite well known for their great build quality. I would recommend the guys at xoticpc.com. They are a Sager/Clevo reseller and offer top notch customer service. Very friendly and helpful company.

My friend bought this which is similar to newegg model. I was surprised by the performance. The vga is indeed better than my OC'ed 460GTX. I believe you can shoot any game at max setting on native res.
