Philips Norelco Speed 8240 Men's Shaving System $40

For some reason over the past few years i have started to have trouble with razor burn and getting pimples/bumps. Do these cut down on that?
 
thanks OP! i've been waiting for the HQ9 heads to drop in price. with coupon, i'm getting a new shaver for $9 more. (had to dig around to get the coupon)

They can. I use one of the Braun shavers. But I also use a pre-shave so that I get a nice smooth shave.

Also (I know this is a pain in the ass, but razerbumps hurt like hell) use a Nivea face cleaner/wash. Keeps the pores clear.

Looks like the deal is dead - no coupon to be found. Too bad, since this is a good razor and the price is almost as cheap as just buying a set of replacement blades.
 
Pooh, wish I had seen this a little earlier.. I normally use mach 3 razors/blades but think I wanna try a higher end electric one for a while. Especially being you guys are liking it..

Get a Wahl trimmer or shaver. After using many trimmers of Norelco over the years I can easily say they are complete trash. My Wahl trimmer is far better than anything else I've tried. A look on amazon shows a shaving system that's decently priced and well reviewed. Based on other reviews I've seen of my trimmer, and other Wahl products, and my own experience I recommend other people give them a shot.. I had never heard of them before I researched good trimmers.
