Has anyone seen this before - Viako Mini Letter SELF?

I should have labeled this thread "who thinks this case looks like the Habey?"

woo, really, that would be awful, did they pay for that to you?

It was me that attempted to by the case from China to no avail. I got all my money back without issue. I am still disappointed though. I would have really liked to have tried it out.

Besides getting it over here, the hard part about buying these cases from China is they are still really expensive. When they want $75 + shipping each and you have to buy them in lots it'd be hard to import and resell them and make any decent money for the hassle.

I keep looking ...

Contacted them for a seller in Europe and they responded with this:

"1. Yuriy in Ukraine, office @ skytrade.com.ua

2. Jon Andersoon in Slovakia, jon.andersson.abc @ gmail.com

i hope you can get our product in Europe."

Hope it helps someone although the number 1 contact has a website, its currently under construction...

My guess is people arent reading this thread. Just glance, think hey it looks like... There is almost as many "looks like a Habey" posts as everything else. I regret even starting the thread.

Nonsense, sir. Regret not what you have started here. This is a good thread introducing a new SFF case that, unfortunately, probably won't be available in North America for some time.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up on this company. Had never heard of them before. I did some intertubes scrounging and found this video for the "SELF" model. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjqoEFB5Vhc"]SELF[/ame] Pretty nice case if you ask me. Almost perfect except for the additional, optional fan mount side panels are for 80mm fans. They say the thing is 126mm tall - then they aught to be able to get at least 92mm fans to fit. But then perhaps that is just my gripe. They apparently have a "PE" (power edition) model also which is comprised a different back plate and a 250W sfx PSU. I guess in Korea that might constitute a "power edition." And that might be the problem with the SELF case in the first place. It is sort of a tweener. It can take a discrete card but the power supplies and space available would seriously limit anyone wanting to build a power rig. Whereas if you are just wanting to build a lower powered HTPC or something you might as well go with one of their slimmer cases.

The thing is a beauty though and the modular design is the tits for several reasons not the least of which is shipping. I would buy one in a heart-beat if I could. The base model without a power supply is around $113 US as far as I could gather.

I did get an email back from them asking for more info on the case (price, what regions of the world they sell too, if a group of end users could purchase directly, available in north america?, etc) and all it said was they that "they don't sell to end users."

:(

It's a flex PSU. SFX is different.

Well, it is more than twice the power (250 vs 120w).

The Mac Mini knockoffs aren't thrilling to me, but I like the look of the "ML Style" cases (1, 2)
