Good PC game... I believe it is one day special

According to steam's FAQ it is steam-able title...

Since I cannot access the page from work, I believe this the link for the game... I hope it works ... LOL

Update:
Whoever missed out on gamersgate special, there is a new special on D2D... ;)

Amazingly fun game. Still haven't beaten it, but when I want to kill some time, its great.

Also some really fun mods. I wish someone could come up with a Coop mod!

Ooooooo look. An OP without a link. Take the extra 15 seconds and post a link in the OP.

Good deal though. I might pick it up.

hey be nice, I cannot access the page from work... I'm sure most peeps can figure it out how to get there... ;)

Thanks. I bought it and I registered it with Steam with no problem at all

I'm retarded and paid with a paypal e-check and now my purchase is pending until my $5 e-check clears in 3-6 business days...

That's awesome! You should've opted for super slow tied to a donkey's back ground shipping option as well so you wouldn't have to download it and just wait the 2-3 weeks for delivery (after the e-check clears, of course).

Damn, that's really cheap for this game. Never played the first one but for $5 I'll get this one.

Just picked this up and installing through Steam as we speak. Can't go wrong for this price - even if it's a crappy game (which it doesn't appear to be).

Just bought and activated on steam. I played this game briefly before and it was just damn fun.

Just Cause 2 is a SteamWorks title, it REQUIRES Steam to work, for those that are still wondering. If you get the boxed version, you still need Steam installed to activate it and add it to your library. :)

It's a fun distraction.

Warning: once you beat the game, every little thing you do that progresses the percentage of game cleared shows up...and I mean every single one. Pick up an upgrade? 37.14%. Health upgrade two feet away? 37.25%. Destroy a water tower? 37.34%.

It got kinda old. It's fun just to run around and blow stuff up, though.

Same price on Direct2Drive. Bought it from there. Something about Gamersgate really put me off. Never heard of it before, and I couldn't pay with my credit card without going through paypal or some other nonsense.

JC2 is a n00b console port pos imo.

And do you have a point there LMAO. It is fucking $5. Who cares if it is a console port or not. Hell, if it is worth a few hours of gameplay then it pays for itself right there.

Take the stick out of your arse, step down from that high horse and lighten the fuck up.

Agreed. I felt the same about Crysis 2 for $12. Who cares if it's at an extremely low price.
Games are enjoyed more when they are cheaper too. Lower expectations.

In 4 1

Direct2Drive charges tax. Well for me, it does. Gamersgate doesn't.

grabbing a copy of bfbc2, already have just cause 2 and it is totally worth the money.

It looks like it is using their own "gamersgate" download manager for BF:BC2

JC2 is crazy fun. it is console port but stands out as looking and running far better on the PC. with a decent PC the looks great and if about the best use of an open world. mix in some of the mods the game has a ton of potential for fun.

How is JC2 a noob console port? There was plenty of care put into porting this to pc, I have put around 40 hrs into it and have never once had it crash, or had any bugs in it. The PC version also is dx10 (yea, I know, woohoo.) The game does control just as good with keyboard/mouse as gamepad, all the buttons are mappable, and you can mod it. Not exactly a "noob console port pos."

Almost bought this during a steam say in the last 6 months for $10 or $15, well worth it for $5, just to try it for one hour in eyefinity is what I hear. In for 1.

Why do people keep saying you can't pay with a credit card?

One of the payment options is "Credit cards via Moneybookers"

I bought Metro 2033 a little while back from GamersGate and used my credit card. Only thing is that I got charged a 14 cent foreign transaction fee. :/

I'm still deciding whether to buy this or not. I DID enjoy the demo on Steam...

For 5 bucks, even if it is bad, you can't claim to have gotten burned. If its bad, eh, you lost one days lunch? If it is good you get hours of entertainment for 5 bucks.

Not only does it use DX10, it uses it exclusively. As in "XP users can go suck eggs" exclusively (God, this needs to happen more often).

Also, you can't exaggerate how well this game handles keyboards and controllers. Literally, I can plug in my 360 controller anytime during the game (even during startup) and it automatically adapts the menus and HUD to the context of the controller. If I get tired of using the controller I can immediately switch back to the keyboard and disconnect the controller if I want to. No fuss. No reconfiguration bullshits. No restarts. Nothing; it just works.

Lastly, I'm always alt-tabbing in and out of this game and have yet to experience a crash or even a hiccup from doing so. Heck, I've played more PC exclusives that have frozen up from doing the same action (mostly, but not limited to source engine games from my experience).

So to the person calling this game a shitty console port? TROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

The only major problem JC2 has is driving, but that's a curse of the genre. No game like it has good driving at least none that I've played.

Agreed. A major downfall on a lot of 3rd person games. The planes lack yaw control too, thus making some of the races suck.

Also, no multiplayer.
