Is it worth it to try to get a replacement panel for my 3007wfp-hc?

My cat decided that he didn't like my monitor and knocked it over somehow and busted up the panel. :(

If it is, does anyone have any idea where to find one?
I haven't called Dell to see if I could get one from them but I'm fairly certain that going that route would be cost prohibitive.
 
MAN that stinks. i can't find a panel for less than 1k.

You must love you cat, because if that was my monitor- I'd be having some cat BBQ.
 
Is it the actual panel that is broken (cracked)? If it is, its probably cheaper to buy a used screen.
 
Sell it on ebay for parts and get a new monitor. It will probably cost just as much for a new panel as it would to just get a new monitor. If you get lucky ou may be able to find a monitor on ebay that has bad electronics with a good panel if you are very patient.
