My Logitech G15, the old blue one with the LCD on a hinge, lost some key functions.

At first the L key went out, then : " and then QWERTY 1234546 and a bunch of others simply stopped functioning.
I have yet to open it up and play around, wanted to see what hardforum had to say. I bought it about 7+ years ago :)

what about tilde prntscrn, menu, and a few numpad like enter / * and such?
seems like you got a pin short as that would be one whole cluster in the g15v2 red (i can only go on the red since i opened it up and traced all the pins) but yea sounds like a trace has gone bad.

I had that happen on my rev1 G15 (blue with the hinge). It would start work after I would bang on the keyboard for a few minutes but I ended up getting the rev2 (red) and it's been fine for the past year and a bit.

Im thinking about a G510, not a fan of the red LED on the new g15's.

Ill have to find the time to plug in my old g15 and see exactly what keys are bad and check the traces. I've had the thing since they came out 8 years ago or so. Thanks

:D:D:D That is one way of fixing some electronics LOL. Sometimes that helps as Surreal has mentioned though. Heck, you might give that a shot......(no pun intended LOL)

I had the same thing happen to a G11 keyboard...just after it's warranty expired. Logitech was willing to sell a replacement at a discount, but I just decided to go mechanical.
