In my experience, if it says an item is "deactivated" on newegg, it is no longer being made. If it says "out of stock," it is still being made, it's just that newegg doesn't have any on hand at the moment and is waiting for the next shipment from the manufacturer.
it does say "deactivated" on newegg. i would be shocked if they discontinued the CAS 7.maybe they are making a new model, but the CMT is suppose to be the new model that supports new peripherals. i made a post about it on corsair's forums, but no reply from ramguy or any other corsair rep, which is odd.
i should have bought one instead of procrastinating. i had the cash and still do now.
