Once you go mechanical, you won't go back.
heh, I have one of those old AT (cut to PS2) new and in the box sitting here if I ever feel like pulling it out. I can see the Das boards having the advantage of being USB, but I really can't see myself buying one for $100+ that does not have an LCD.
Mechanical keyboards are not as impressive as everyone makes them out to be. I actually find mine quite annoying because of how loud the keys are.
To me, the mechanical keyboard things seems kinda like a "geek toughguy" thing. You use it as a badge of price, not because it is actually the best keyboard.
Mechanical keyboards are not as impressive as everyone makes them out to be. I actually find mine quite annoying because of how loud the keys are. As far as peripherals, I'm all for a good mouse, expensive pad, audiophile headphones, but the keyboard just never did anything special for me.
wait these dont have the fn media keys huh?
i dont see em in the picture, but on the mechanical keyboard guide found here, http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/491752-mechanical-keyboard-guide.html
it shows the das model S with fn keys..
If it had media keys for volume adjustment I would bite. Mechanical keyboards need them!
what kind of pros and cons are there between blue and brown switches..
Anyone have a say on how much softer the noise is for the soft version?
