Wow that looks nice for PC ? I remember the last one I played was Jane's something...
 
Its just a combined Lockon and Flaming Cliffs 2.

If you already have the original lockon, you can buy Flaming cliffs 2 from their website, its been out for a while now.
 
*picks his jaw of the floor and puts it back in place*.. damn that game looks beautiful.. ok i give in i need to buy those games.. kept putting it off but no more.. going to the front of the list after i get settled into my new apartment..
 
I may just have to break down and get this. Of course, that means I also have to break down and finally get a TrackIR setup because there is no way I am playing this without it.
 
lol, they totally ripped off The Lord of the Rings soundtrack and the beginning of that video.

It uses starforce... after I read further into it. I changed my mind. Stupid Russians. :(
 
Um, although it uses starforce, it doesnt install starforce onto your pc, all it does is use your serial and looksup the starforce website to see if its a legit key and then activates the game, so no starforce software is installed on your pc at all.
 
If they bring it to steam without the starforce I'm in. Otherwise, I'm staying away as I've stayed away thus far, for the same essential reasons I won't pick up Rise of Flight (and the fact the losers who made the latter want 100 bucks for DLC that absolutely should have been included in the game in the first place). I swear, the sim community grows some of the worst developer ideology in the gaming world -- they've invented or at least refined "release now, patch later", "cripple paying customers with DRM", and my favourite of all, "release a game 50% finished and let the fan community finish it for us"
 
I agree with you on the "Release now, Fix later Ideology" as EVERY SINGLE version of Lockon and DCS Blackshark is bugged up to Fux, seriously, they havent fixed bugs that were present in the first Lockon from 2004 or thereabouts. Infact, I have fixed a few bugs for lockon and dcs, but since I am banned from the forum for dissing the old starforce, then I just dont forward my fixes to them.

But I dont agree with you on starforce, not now, the old starforce was a piece of shit, and I would agree with you if it was that version but its not.

The version of starforce included in DCS blackshark and lockon 2 doesnt install ANYTHING onto your pc, all it does is you type in your serial, it then looks up the starforce website and if the serial is legit, you activate the game, their is no starforce software installed on your pc at all, so whats so bad about that compared to other games that use serials or even a windows OS that uses a serial that needs to be activated ?

Had it been the old starforce that actually installed drivers onto your pc and gained such a bad name in the process about 3-4 years ago, then I would readily agree with youthat its best avoided, but since its not and nothing todo with starfarce gets onto your pc at all, then it really is no big deal.

I have it and it causes me and everyone else no problems, it was just the old starforce version that seemed to piss people off with problems.
