First the ATi GPU's Grey Screen Of Death now nVidia Green Screen Of Death?
Okay, I doubt the two are related but those are the exact same symptoms of the GSOD with ATi GPU's, I had them myself and had to RMA my card. I have not seen them since. What are your temps like?

I had similar lockups in demanding games with one of my XFX GTX 260 Black Edition cards. Very frustrating (the other one never did this though). Sometimes the colors would be a pink kaleidoscope effect like that, while other times it'd be a solid color. No matter the color or pattern, it resulted in a complete lockup with looping audio, forcing me to restart the PC. Then I experienced the eqivalent (GSOD) with my 5870. Finally on a GTX 480 which has been rock solid (though hot); crossing my fingers that it never does any of this BS.

Check basics like cpu volts and ram volts, and also make sure NB is getting enough juice. Finally, that might be your power supply as well.
WHAT ??? you dont say... and i was thinking to buy 5870 now. shite lol

My GTX260 would do the Blueish Pruple Screen playing Counterstrike Source on only 1 map. Didn't do it in any other game or map on CSS. really strange too.
