The laser is turning 50 this week. Doesn’t look a day over 49, does it?

On May 16, 1960, Hughes Lab researcher Theodore Maiman became the first person on Earth to build a laser. Fifty years later, the technology is now one of the most ubiquitous on the planet.

Laser just needs some laser cosmetic surgery and it will look 25 again!
 
I was going to tell a joke about sharks... but I wasn't up that early, and then there's these comments about sharks so it's just not worth the effort.
